The Saint John Vianney Scholars program is designed to provide financial and academic support to children in need that are involved in their community and motivated to excel in school. Each year students from Catholic elementary schools in the Archdioceses of Philadelphia are selected to be the recipients of partial four year scholarships to attend one of 17 Archdiocesan high schools. Letters of invitation to sit for the Neumann Scholars Test in January are sent by elementary school principals to eligible students in November who meet the following criteria:
We believe that we have created a program that everyone can unite behind and truly make a difference in the lives of many children. The Saint John Vianney Scholars Program is the only one of its kind at a parish level. We are beginning to gather excitement from other parishes to follow in our footsteps. As we continue to build the program and explore other possibilities we are looking for your support.
Your financial support, whether through individual donations or an Education Improvement Tax Credits (EITC) program for business owners is needed for the continued success and growth of the Saint John Vianney Scholars Program. Go to the Contact page and we will be happy to provide further information.
